Which Parts?

Which parts can you install?

Saddlebags: In my opinion are the Cruisliner Saddlebags from National Cycle, the most useful and good style bags you can get for the Dragstar. This saddlebags are hardcase bags with standart black painting. They are in-line with the back of the bike. You are able to see them on the pictures part of my site.

Exhaust: I bought the Vance&Hines Slip-On exhaust system. Im´m very content with it. This system guarantees no colour-change during life time. This is very important for your long term satisfaction. Belive me; it looks very bad when the exhausts beginns with blueing.

The Sound of the V&H is awefull. Further you can buy the Cobra system. The sound is a little bit better. But I saw that they could change the colour because of the heat.

Handgrips: The Handgrips of the Yamaha Original Accessory Catalog with the Part No. ZUB-XVS65-37-11 are a good alternative. But they are not cheap. You can find more handgrips on the accessorypages at the link page.

Handlebars: I bought the Dragbar from the original Yamaha Accessory Cataloge with the Part No. ZUB-XVS65-75-12. You can find more opportunities at the pages of some internet dealers.

Footpegs: Forward controls are nice but very expensive. I ordered Tech Glide foot pegs from the dutch accessory dealer Highwayhawk.  But the footpegs of Rizoma are very nice too. Just look at the link page.

Other things you have to change:

Mirrors: The original mirrors are definitly worst. Look for other hot glasses.

Oil Filler Cap: The original is plastik. Change it with a crome one.
